Concept : Celares Rainforest

Part Two.

Something of the surface of Celares, the rainforests are composed of grand organisations of symbiotic vines and trunks, even as the colonists deployed their settlements among the branches the plants adapted to the new environment, growing throughout the machinery.

Not to be outdone, the colonists use the plants own photo-electricity to power their machinery, while the plants use the new surface area to gather more light and nutrients from the thick atmosphere.

Most of the rainforest is mangrove style swamp, so the best crops are those that do well in water.

It's also advantageous to build among the trees as the water level changes quite dramatically due to the sister planet Celares Beta.

Thankfully the colonists are either good climbers or have the ability to fly, so it's not as dangerous as it seems.
